Job Details : Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) invites applications for recruitment of Research Officer, Research Associate at Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), New Delhi from the eligible candidates

Senior Research Officer (Power Market) - 01
Qualification : Candidate should have passed Post Graduate Degree in Economics or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with MBA from recognized Institutes/Universities.
Experience : Minimum eight to ten years experience in power sector. Ability to undertake independently, strategic studies in the power sector. Knowledge of working of power markets/ power sector issues such as open access, tariff setting, competitive bidding, will be preffered.
Pay Scale : Rs.94000-103000/-P.M.

Research Officer (Economics) - 02
Qualification : Candidate should have passed Post Graduate Degree in Economics or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with MBA from recognized Institutes/Universities.
Experience : (i) Minimum of four to seven years experience in the power sector with regulatory work with the exposure to economic analysis of issues. (ii) Persons working as Energy Economists in State Regulatory Commissions could also be considered.
Pay Scale : Rs.64000-85000/-P.M.

Research Associate (Economics & Power Markets) - 02
Qualification : Candidate should have passed Post Graduate Degree in Economics or MBA (Power Management) from recognized Institutes/Universities.
Experience : Zero to three years experience in the power sector/ regulatory work. The person should have good knowledge of data base operation.
Pay Scale : Rs.45000-59000/-P.M.
